Girl Hat

I always wanted to make a hat and my daughter always wanted me to make her a hat!

I'll tell you, even though it is spring, she still likes to wear it!

Baby Shower Treat

This is a treat I made for a friend's baby shower.  Baby food containers filed with Brigadeiro!

Brigadeiro is a simple chocolate bonbon, created in the 1940's and named after Brigadier Eduardo Gomes, whose shape is reminiscent of that of some varieties of chocolate truffles.  It is a very popular candy in Brazil and it is usually serves at birthday parties, but can also be found at any kind of party.

A Little Pottery

I miss my tole painting, so to change a bit I tried a little pottery painting with a friend. A simple pattern, just to get the feel for it. It was fun, but for sure I'll try something more elaborated next time!

Angelical Touch

These were actually painted about 2 years ago.  The crochet flowers were a gift from my friend Ines.  At that time I had no idea I would crochet one day!!

I don't know why it took so long for me to post these Angels... Maybe because it took so long for me to hang them in my daughter's room ;)

Esses anjinhos foram pintados a uns 2 anos atras.  As flores de croche foram presente da minha amiga Ines.  Naquela epoca nunca podia imaginar que um dia eu estaria fazendo croche!!

Nao sei porque demorei tanto para postar esses anginhos... Talvez porque demorou tanto para eu pendura-los no quartinho da minha filha ;)

Bird Mobile

Bird Mobile.  The little bird ornaments was used here to make the mobile.  This one was an order for a baby girl's room.

Mobile de passarinho.  Os ornamentos de passarinhos foram transformados em um lindo mobile.  Esse foi uma encomenda para o quarto de uma menininha.
